Terms of Service
Effective July 2026
These terms cover your use of getmapgo.com and the CacheMap tool (together, "the Service"), operated by Spanyo LLC. By using the Service you agree to these terms. The short version: this is a free tool, provided as-is, and you use it at your own risk.
1. The Service is free and provided "as is"
The Service is provided free of charge, "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise the Service will be available, error-free, or that any output will be correct.
2. Accuracy is not guaranteed
CacheMap assigns geocache finds to US counties using public boundary data and automated processing. Assignments can be wrong, particularly near county lines or where cache coordinates have changed. Statistics, maps, and exports are for entertainment; do not rely on them for anything that matters, and do not use the Service for navigation, safety, or emergency purposes.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spanyo LLC and its members will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service, which is zero.
4. Your content stays yours (and stays with you)
Files you load into CacheMap are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us. You own your data and anything you export. You are responsible for what you do with exports, including complying with the terms of any third-party service where you host or post them.
5. Third-party data and trademarks
Basemap data © OpenMapTiles © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Boundary data from the US Census Bureau. "Geocaching" is a trademark of Groundspeak, Inc. The Service is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Groundspeak, Inc., OpenStreetMap, or the US Census Bureau.
6. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or these terms) at any time, without notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Spanyo LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
